Many air quality monitoring projects require the combination of several monitor types to measure different species and also auxiliary equipment to calibrate, communicate, measure meteorology, traffic, noise etc, and to transmit the data produced to those who require to see and use it.
Air Monitors offers a complete systems integration service encompassing design, build, installation, commissioning and, if required, ongoing management.
We also offer systems which are designed from the outset as multi component monitoring stationss, such as the airpointer system which has multi gas capability and can be supplied with met and PM monitor integrated into one compact box.
Compact Monitoring Cabinet ....for Roadside AQ Monitoring
The CMC (Compact Monitoring Cabinet) will house up to two gas monitors and one TEOM-FDMS, 1405, SHARP or BAM PM monitor. It is fully air conditioned, has RCD electrical protection and distribution via a domestic distribution board and is made from quality steel sheet making it strong and weather resistant. Complete with cage to enclose sample inlets and communication antenna for security. The foot print is just 1.2m x 0.6m and the system is supplied compete with a secure ground mounted plinth. The CMC is used throughout the UK and has given many years of reliable operation in all weather conditions. Access is easy with doors at each end and monitor displays can be seen clearly as they are visible to the front of each door, not sie on like many other designs.

GROUNDHOG TRANSPORTABLE AIR QUALITY MONITORING STATION
The groundhog is the ultimate in air quality monitoring system security. The system has full road trailer gear and can be towed with a medium size vechicle. When on site the wheels are retracted under the body and the towing gear stowed under a nose cone. Rear lights are removd and stored inside and all cables such as power feed telephone links etc can be brought in under the shelter. On the roof there are cages to protect the sample inlets and air conditioning system outlets. A meteorological mast can be fitted inside but protrudes through the roof again making the system as secure as possible. Available in many sizes, internal designs and colours.
ROLLALONG (TRANSPORTABLE) AIR QUALITY MONITORING STATION
Rollalong buildings are pre-fabricated shelters mounted on "skids". They can be easily located on site using a truck mounted crane (hiab). They are cost efficient and secure and come in various designs, sizes and finishes. Smallest footprint is 1.2x1.8m.
TOWABLE TRAILER TYPE MONITORING STATIONS
Towable trailer type air quality monitoring stations can be useful if the site has to be moved frequently. These can be fitted out to your own specification and provide an ideal working platform for field studies.
airpointer compact air quality monitoring system
airpointer is a new concept in air quality monitoring. In the past a multi-gas and particle pollution monitoring system would have been housed in a large walk in shelter, with airpointer it is possible to achieve similar performance with a small enclosure mounted on a post or wall, allowing measurements to be made in locations not previously possible. airpointer is able to monitor and communicate much more data than a conventional air quality station giving you faster and easier access to the data. It also allows service personnel to take control remotely and can reduce down time by alerting those concerned as soon as a problem occurs. It can even be remotely calibrated helping to cut down the frequency of site visits.

Connectivity
You can have remote access to your airpointer from all over the world via any Internet connection.
DUVAS (Differential Ultra Violet Absorption Spectrometer) uses a well accepted optical technique which has been used for many years in a larger format to measure many of the gases which are controlled by legislation such as NO2, O3, SO2 etc. The system has been developed at Imperial College London and by Duvas Technologies and will be brought to the market by Air Monitors. Extensive laboratory and field trials have been carried out and are continuing currently as we bring the product into full production. The system can be carried by hand or mounted on a vehicle providing data on the move. Utilising GPS technology concentration data and position can be streamed back to base allowing real time visualisation on a mapping system.
